Biden Fundraising Slacking After Debate
Is the Joe Biden money train finally running out?
While there is still money coming in, Biden is now lagging behind Trump.
This is happening largely in part because the big-money donors want Biden to step down, and they are shutting off the faucets until he does.

One Democrat fundraiser said the situation is dire, stating, “No one is picking up the phone.”
The situation has gotten so bad that some of Biden’s bundlers are not even bothering to call people anymore.
The big money donors are seeing much the same thing.
For instance, longtime fundraiser John Morgan is weary of holding events for Biden due to the uncertainty of Biden being the candidate.
Morgan stated, “I’m not going to raise any more money or write out checks until I am sure he is the candidate and the campaign finds a date.
“These next few weeks will be key. But my donors need to be sure he is the nominee.”
Another major Biden donor, Stewart Bainum Jr., the chairman of Choice Hotels, stated, “It’s now best for the country and the world for him to pass the baton.
“It’s going to be a disaster for the country for him to stay in the race.
“We’ll help the nominee — whoever that is — after the convention. We won’t do it before the convention.”
That may not be the case because the party's power brokers are starting to demand that Biden take a test or step down.
Biden has been defiant, but this is the first time I have ever truly believed that the 25th Amendment will be used against Biden.
And let’s be honest here… there is no love lost between Jill Biden and Kamala Harris, so it would not be surprising to see Harris use the 25th to make history as our nation’s first female president, not to mention a woman of color.
That is not a good sign for Biden, who is now behind Trump in cash-on-hand.
Now, I still believe has enough money to make it to the convention, but the way he is lagging in polling, I would suspect most of that money will be used aggressively to try to get some grip for Biden.
This is definitely something we want to keep our eyes on over the next few months to see just how bad of a situation this becomes for Biden.
