PA Supreme Court Says Wrongly Dated Ballots are Invalid

We finally have a win for election integrity in the courts in a blue state.

This week, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court announced that ballots missing a date or are wrongly dated will not be counted.

Leftist groups, however, have vowed to continue to fight this in court.

Not Valid

If you have never done a mail-in ballot, the process can be tedious.

As I have noted in other reports, during the pandemic, I ordered a mail-in ballot to check out the process.

When I talked to a local politician about the procedures, they noted that the rules are what they are to ensure the ballot is valid.

For instance, we have to provide proof of residence as well as sign the ballot in very specific areas.

Once the ballot was received, I got a notification of its receipt via email, then received a notice when it had been validated and processed.

PA has similar rules in place, and they have been in place for years, but liberals and Dems want to go around the rules, rules they can change in Congress if they wanted to.

One of those rules is the proper date being on the ballot.

It is not brain surgery; just follow the directions. As former PA Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar stated, “What’s most important is voters need to understand that they need to put today’s date on the envelope.

The ACLU vowed to fight the ruling, stating, “This is not the end of the road on this issue.”

Gates McGavick, senior advisor to RNC Chairperson Michael Whatley, responded, “The idea that widely-supported [sic] election integrity safeguards somehow constitute ‘voter suppression’ is a far-left conspiracy theory.”

Other than people being overseas and those that are incapable of getting to the polls due to health reasons, I think mail-in ballots should be outlawed.

Most states open early voting weeks before the election, and the polls are usually open seven days a week leading into the election.

The point is that there is no reason for any able-bodied person to use a mail-in ballot. Go to the polls to cast your vote, and then you won’t have to worry about putting the wrong date on the envelope.
