Man who threatened to torture, kill SCOTUS justices donated to liberal causes

76-year-old Pano Anastasiou of Alaska has been arrested for making death threats against six of the Supreme Court Justices.

Court documents have noted that Anastasiou has sent nearly FIVE HUNDRED messages to the Supreme Court via their website, the majority of those messages containing “heinous threats to murder and torture” the justices and their family members.

Maybe even more disturbing?

Anastasiou donated “dozens of times to Democrat Platform Act Blue.”

The man's death threats are extremely graphic and disturbing in nature -- he even once threatened to put “a bullet” in the head of one justice.

Another time, one of his messages claimed that he wanted to “make Supreme Court Justices 1-6 be AFRAID very AFRAID to leave their home and fear for their lives every day.”

Attorney General Merrick Garland has released a statement surrounding the defendant’s actions.

“We allege that the defendant made repeated, heinous threats to murder and torture Supreme Court Justices and their families to retaliate against them for decisions he disagreed with. Our justice system depends on the ability of judges to make their decisions based on the law, and not on fear. Our democracy depends on the ability of public officials to do their jobs without fearing for their lives or the safety of their families,” said Garland.

Now, if he is convicted of the allegations, Anastasiou faces a whopping ten years PER count of threats against the judges and five years PER count of threats in interstate commerce.

At this point, it is safe to say that Anastasiou may be facing the rest of his life in prison if he is found guilty on even a few of the counts.

At the end of the day, no matter HOW you feel about the decisions rendered by the SCOTUS, it does not give you the freedom to harass them.

Anastasiou should be held accountable if he committed the crimes that he has been charged with.
