Harris campaign says she will skip historic Al Smith dinner in New York

Vice President Kamala Harris just CALLED it off!

Now, former President Donald Trump has got to be laughing!

Harris will NOT attend the Al Smith charity dinner!

The iconic dinner has historically featured playful roasts that take place between both presidential candidates.

Not this year!

What will she be doing instead?

Heading to a battleground state to continue her campaigning efforts.

Trump has notoriously excelled at the Al Smith dinner's roast tradition and has previously torn into former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

“I don’t know who they’re angry at, Hillary, you or I. For example, here she is tonight, in public, pretending not to hate Catholics,” Trump said during his roast.

Could it be that Harris is skipping because of how lethal Trump has proven to be during the historic roast?

Or… is there something else at play here?

Could it be that the Harris campaign is simply desperate for more votes and cannot afford to stop campaigning even for a charity dinner?

The news of Harris skipping the dinner did come as a shock to many!

She was expected to attend.

After the debate between her and Donald Trump, comedian Jim Gaffigan took to social media to say “I guess the next and final time we will see these two kids together will be at the 79th Al Smith Memorial Dinner on October 17th.”

Yet, it looks like Harris has decided that is simply not happening.

However, despite Harris skipping the charity dinner, it has been confirmed by Harris’ campaign chair that she has officially accepted an invitation from CNN to take on Trump for a second debate.

Trump has already said he will not debate against Harris a second time, so we would not hold our breath for that debate to come to fruition.
