Joe Manchin Rips Biden’s COVID Advisers

Senator Joe Manchin (I-WV) was a lifelong Democrat until the last year of his term in office.

With Biden’s days numbered, Manchin is now speaking out about the Biden administration, specifically trashing Joe Biden’s COVID advisers.

The 17 Idiots

A lot of people on the right like Manchin and would love to see him flip and become a Republican, but I am not one of them, but I will get more into that later.

In terms of Manchin now ripping Biden’s administration, he referred to Biden’s advisers as the “17 educated idiots.”

Manchin hammered Biden on the American Rescue Plan, stating, "I warned of that, and I got criticized, as you recall, they told me they had 17 Nobel laureates.” Those Nobel laureates were the 17 “idiots” to which Manchin was referring.

Let’s not forget, though, that Manchin helped Biden by allowing reconciliation to pass the American Rescue Plan, stating at the time, “The president needed it. That was his first shot out of the box. I gave [my vote] because the president wanted it.”

Snake in the Grass

This is Manchin trying to save his career. He had repeatedly stated that he would not allow reconciliation, only to go back on his word twice because of backroom deals he was making with the administration.

Most critics of the American Rescue Plan believe it created inflation and this entire mess that we are all still trying to dig ourselves out of today.

I go back to Senator McConnell (R-KY) stating in 2022, “At this time last year, Washington Democrats were beginning their quest to dump trillions of dollars in left-wing spending on a recovering economy that already had the preconditions for some inflation.”

You guys know I have no love lost for McConnell, but he was dead right here, and everyone told the GOP to shut up and give Biden his chance, and it cost many of us everything we had.

Leaving the Democrat Party

Manchin left the Democratic Party, but this was about trying to save face after lying to people on both sides of the aisle.

When he left the Democrat Party, he stated, "To stay true to myself and remain committed to put country before party, I have decided to register as an independent with no party affiliation and continue to fight for America’s sensible majority.”

Just about everything that Manchin is saying today about Democrats and the Biden administration, including those 17 idiots, is true, but do not think you can trust this man.

Honestly, I think he could be making a play to get the attention of Trump in the hopes of landing a role in Trump’s cabinet. I am bringing this up because I don’t want people to be fooled into thinking Manchin is a good man simply because he is being honest right now. He is just another political snake that we cannot trust.
