REPORT: Biden Looking for Revenge Against Pelosi
Since Joe Biden withdrew from the election, word on the street is that he and Nancy Pelosi have not had a word in person.
Now, reports are surfacing that Biden is looking to exact some revenge by supporting the blocking of trading of stocks for members of Congress.
The Coup
When Joe Biden was tanking in polling, it was Nancy Pelosi who reportedly stepped in to get Biden to withdraw from the race.
This was unprecedented in this country, as we have never had a presidential candidate elected in a primary race step down and the party handpicked a replacement candidate.
Pelosi even took a bow over the coup, only to blame Joe Biden for the loss after the fact, saying that he waited too long to step down.
Now, however, Joe is reportedly looking to get some revenge against Pelosi.
Holding a Grudge
Democratic strategist Lindy Li is now doing the media circuit, saying that Biden “still has a bone to pick” with Pelosi.
She added that Joe is "still very angry that he was summarily pushed aside."
Li believes that Biden plans on getting his revenge by supporting anti-stock trading legislation that would prevent members of Congress from eating from the forbidden tree.
Keep in mind that Joe has been in office for about five decades, and now, only after Pelosi has accumulated a fortune of about $240 million, does he want to ban stock trading.
Time to Stop It
To Li’s point, Biden recently expressed his interest in having such legislation passed.
Biden stated, "I think we should be changing the law...at the federal level [so] that nobody in the Congress should be able to make money in the stock market while they're in the Congress. I don't know how you look your constituents in the eye and know, because the job they gave you, gave you an inside track to make more money."
When asked about this stance by Biden, Li responded, “He’s still very angry that he got summarily pushed aside, and he’s finally saying that no one in Congress should be able to trade on the inside information, and you know who’s notorious for that? Nancy Pelosi.”
This has always been a point of contention for me. All you need to do is look at the committee members of Congress on both sides serve, then look at their stock transactions. Look how quickly members who were deep in debt suddenly flipped their net worth into the millions. Serving in Congress is no longer about public service; it is about getting rich.
