Mass Grave Discovered Near US-Mexico Border

This week, a horrific discovery took place that only makes the case that something must be done about the cartels.

A dozen skeletons found in numerous secret graves were found last week just outside of El Paso, TX.

The Graves

Hidden graves are often used by the Cartel to hide bodies that have been killed by their operatives.

Currently, there are about 120,000 missing in Mexico, with most of them believed to be related to Cartel activity. In this case, there were a dozen skeletons found over 11 different secret grave sites.

The state prosecutor’s office stated, “The exhumations were processed by forensic anthropologists and experts from Forensic Services, who collected and packaged evidence such as spent shells of various calibers.

“The undetermined bones and the evidence found were transferred to the laboratories of the Forensic Medical Service in Cd. Juárez, for analysis and investigations to determine identities, cause and time of death.”

Cartels Operating in the United States

Cartel activity has now become a national security issue, as these criminal organizations have taken advantage of loose immigration policies to deeply penetrate the United States to the point that they now have a presence in all 50 states.

The DEA recently released a report showing that the Cartel is responsible for flooding many of our major cities with fentanyl and meth.

The report stated, "The deadly reach of the Mexican Sinaloa and Jalisco cartels into U.S. communities is extended by the wholesale-level traffickers and street dealers bringing the cartels’ drugs to market, sometimes creating their own deadly drug mixtures. Together, the Sinaloa and Jalisco cartels have caused the worst drug crisis in U.S. history."

The report goes on to say that these two cartels have "effectively eliminated any competition in U.S. markets.”

Donald Trump and the Cartels

Donald Trump has been railing about Cartel activity for years, so much so, in fact, that Trump has expressed an interest in unleashing our special forces units on the Cartels in Mexico, as well as considering missile strikes against these criminal outfits.

During the campaign in 2023, Trump stated, "The drug cartels are waging war on America—and it's now time for America to wage war on the cartels. The drug cartels and their allies in the Biden administration have the blood of countless millions on their hands. Millions and millions of families and people are being destroyed. When I am back in the White House, the drug kingpins and vicious traffickers will never sleep soundly again."

In that same year, Trump stated, "I'll make clear that we must use any and all resources needed to stop the invasion, including moving thousands of troops currently stationed overseas.”

The relationship between Mexican leadership and Donald Trump is not exactly great right now, and Trump would need their permission before sending our military into the country to exterminate the Cartel, and I am not sure that is going to happen. But if it does, I would imagine Trump could wipe the Cartels in a relatively short period of time if Mexico decided it wanted its most powerful ally to help rid the country of these criminal organizations.
