Tulsi Gabbard vows to end politicization of America's intel agencies
President Donald Trump and his supporters were all smiles when it was revealed that Tulsi Gabbard was confirmed by the Senate this week as his new Director of National Intelligence.
According to the Daily Caller, Gabbard is ready to hit the ground running, and announced this week that she will put an abrupt end to the politicization of America's intelligence agencies.
The announcement came shortly after she was confirmed as Trump's DNI, which many thought would be a tougher battle than it actually was.
The Daily Caller obtained a list of Gabbard's priorities, and ending the politics within the ranks of top U.S. intelligence agencies is a move that everyone should be able to get behind.
What's going on?
The document obtained by the Daily Caller outlined several of Gabbard's top priorities as she now oversees all of America's intelligence agencies.
"End politicization of the IC and ensure clear mission focus to the IC on its core mission of unbiased, apolitical collection and analysis of intelligence to secure our nation," the document read.
She especially took aim at the 51 former intel officers who signed a document swearing that Hunter Biden's laptop was nothing more than a Russian disinformation campaign.

The Daily Caller noted:
She specifically pointed to the 51 former national security officials who signed a letter implying the New York Post’s Hunter Biden laptop story was a “Russian information operation.” That was proven false and Trump recently revoked the officials’ security clearances.
The document added that Gabbard, as DNI, will work overtime to reestablish trust in U.S. intel agencies "through transparency and accountability."
What else will she do?
According to the document, Gabbard will "address efficiency, redundancy, and effectiveness across ODNI to ensure focus of personnel and resources is focused on our core mission of national security."
She will also work on identifying intelligence gaps.
"Assess the global threat environment and where gaps in our intelligence exist, integrate intelligence elements, increase information-sharing, and ensure unbiased, apolitical, objective collection and analysis to support the President and policymakers’ decision-making," the document read.
It's refreshing and exciting to have someone like Gabbard in charge now. It gives us hope.
