Melania winning hearts and souls with return to White House
Melania Trump has never been treated fairly by the media or liberals, but that has not stopped her from growing her fan base.
After a spectacular appearance on inauguration day, fans around the world are falling in love with our First Lady.
Inauguration Day
When Melania showed up for Trump to be sworn into office, I don't think she could have looked any better.
She looked even more amazing at the inauguration.
This week, Trump hosted the National Governor's Association Dinner at the White House's East Room with Melania on his arm.
Melania also chose to wear a tuxedo, much like her official portrait, and while conservatives loved her look, the media tore her to shreds.
The Media Strikes Again
In my time, I have never seen a First Lady with the beauty of Melania, yet fashion magazines and the leftist media in this country attack her every chance they get.
After Melania's new White House portrait was revealed, wearing a sharp black tuxedo with white shirt, Vogue brutally attacked her.
The publication's Hannah Jackson wrote, “Trump looked more like she was guest starring on an episode of ‘The Apprentice’ than assuming the role of first lady of the United States."
Jackson then threw an insult, writing, “The choice to wear a tuxedo — as opposed to a blazer or blouse — made Trump look more like a freelance magician than a public servant.”
New Fans
While the media crushes her, it turns out that Melania's fan base is extending around the world, including, if you can believe it, China.
Donald Trump has declared China as enemy number one, but the people of China could care less when it comes to Melania.
Jingsi Wu, an associate professor of media studies at Hofstra University, stated, “Chinese fans like her having both traditional and modern sides of a woman." Rose LuQiu, an associate professor at School of Communication in Hong Kong Baptist University, added, “The more independent and accomplished she is — but still unwaveringly loyal to (Donald) Trump — the more it reflects his perceived success as a man."
I am sure the media will somehow turn this into a bad thing, but I have always believed that Melania is key to Trump's success as president. She makes him appear more human, something the media despises. I think her having a worldwide fan base is good business for Trump, and it will only help his appeal in the long run.
