James Carville calls out Democrats over reaction to Trump address
For those of you who do not know the name, James Carville is a high-profile Democrat strategist and talking head.
He is generally wrong, and usually only says things that feed into the Democrat base, but he actually hit the nail on the head this time.
Foolishness
The reaction by Democrats to the Trump joint session address was comical, childish, and just plain stupid.
The American people put Trump in office to carry out an agenda he made quite clear on the campaign trail. So, their paddle protests and outburst by Rep. Green (D-TX) did not sit well with a lot of people, including Carville.
He stated, "Democrats want to believe that everyone is equal, or we're inclusive, so everybody — when it turns to communicating the party's message, in the image of the party, some people are just better than other people, okay?"
Carville went on to say that he does not want to silence anyone, but suggested they need people better than the likes of Rep. Green to make the party line available to the American people.
Three Reasons Why…
Now, above, I noted that Carville is generally wrong about things, so I wanted to dive into a couple of those so you realize that most of what he says is just feeding the narrative the Democrat base wants to hear.
When all signs pointed to a Harris loss in the election, Carville still tried to sell her as a winner when he should have been ringing the panic button.
On October 23, 2024, at which point Harris’ lead in the polls was gone, Carville penned an op-ed in The New York Times declaring that he was “certain” Harris would win this election.
Carville outlined his reasons why it was a certainty that Harris would win, with one of them being that he believed the people of this country were better than electing the bad orange man to office… and we all saw how that worked out for him.
Collapse is Imminent
After Trump took office, Carville took a new talking point to the media that the Donald Trump administration was going to collapse.
Carville predicted that everyone would be at each other’s throats and that within four to six weeks the entire administration would collapse.
The media jumped on this, starting to publish stories about fights within the administration, but that has all been put down by Trump officials and the administration itself.
So, as I stated, take Carville’s words for whatever you seem to be worth, but more often than not, Carville is wrong, and he often pushed bogus facts to support his narrative. The man is a buffoon, at best.
