Kamala Harris takes a hit from Fetterman
You just have to love it when Democrats are firing back at Harris and calling out her disastrous campaign.
I say this because Harris’ book was nothing but excuses, blaming everyone else in the party for her failure, except for the person she sees in the mirror every day.
The latest hit came from Senator John Fetterman (D-PA), who blasted her for relying on the bad orange man excuse to win the election.
The Bad Orange Man
When Kamala was first gifted the nomination, she was also staking a decent lead, which, at its height, was about four points.
That slowly dwindled to the point of a nearly dead-even race in late October, which is when she panicked and started calling Trump a fascist.
CNN’s Anderson Cooper asked her directly if she thought Trump was a fascist, and she “Yes, I do. Yes, I do.”
She continued, “I believe that Donald Trump is dangerous. As the president of the United States, the commander in chief, he’s saying to his generals, in essence, why can’t you be more like Hitler’s generals? Come on!”
Fetterman Tells It Like It Is
Fetterman was recently asked about Harris’ campaign, and he pointed to that exact moment as when he knew this race was over.
He stated, “When Vice President Harris referred to President Trump as a ‘fascist’ … I knew absolutely we lost the plot at that point.”
He continued, “If you call the president or someone like a fascist, you are effectively calling the people who are going to vote for him … then they must be fascist too … or they support fascism and those things. And that is just not true.”
This was a great interview, as Fetterman also called out Democrats for using the filibuster to hold up the continuing resolution even though they ran on breaking the filibuster in 2022.
One More Thing
Harris has also been blaming Donald Trump and Republicans for the shutdown, but another Democrat countered that narrative.
Rep. Adam Smith (D-WA) was asked about a recent poll that more or less split it down the middle as to who is to blame, and he responded, “I think there’s pressure on all of us, and, look, yes, of course, we all bear some responsibility for it.”
That, however, is where the honesty stopped, as he then started pushing the narrative on health care benefits, which we have exhaustively covered, so I am not going to regurgitate it again.
Poor Kamala… she just can’t catch a break right now.
