Bar Owner in MN Says Walz Wrecked Business

When the pandemic hit this country, Minnesota followed the blueprint of most other Democrat-run states.

It was shut down, and small business owners were left with locked doors and empty registers.

One local business owner, Liza Zarza, just came forward to tell her story of being forced into bankruptcy because of Walz's policies during the pandemic.

Lock Your Doors

I would bet anything that if Trump could go back in time, “15 Days to Slow the Spread” never would have been initiated.

That policy led to some governors closing their states and keeping them closed for months to prevent the spread of COVID.

This policy was more or less debunked in the aftermath of COVID, as states like Florida and Texas, which reopened soon after the initial close-down order was given, flourished, while states like New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan got crushed because Democrat governors refused to reopen the doors.

One state that was also closed but about which we have not heard much until now is Minnesota.

Minnesota only has a total population of 5.7 million, ranking it number 22 on the overall list of states, so it was not making the headlines like California and New York.

Zarza, however, was one of the local business owners who suffered due to the policies of Walz, forced to close her business, and then hit with about $300,000 in legal bills to add insult to injury.

She stated, “I think he’s an evil man who overstepped his role as the governor. He took small businesses and ripped them up. He destroyed us.

“I had to leave the state to be able to legally work and make a living.”

Zarza is among the 33,000 or so Minnesotans who left the state and fled to Wisconsin, where she opened a new bar called the Outpost Bar and Grill in Bay City, WI.

Zarza added, “I stood up because he stripped us of our rights. It was a discrimination against certain groups of people and we were one of them. He didn’t have a right to do what he did to us.

“I was threatened with arrests, I was threatened with fines. At the end of the entire lawsuit, my lawsuit including Attorney General fees was over $300,000. I filed personal bankruptcy.”

While local businesses were shut down, Walz allowed stores like Target, Walmart, and Home Depot to remain open.

When Zarza heard that Harris had selected Walz as her VP, Zarza stated, “I almost dropped to my knees and I was sick. I was literally sick to my stomach. Everything that he did to our state came back. I rode an hour to work and cried the whole way.

“Kamala made a big mistake picking him as her VP. She thought she was getting some Podunk freaking farmer. She didn’t. We don’t want him running our country. Good god.”

Zarza later added that she will never return to Minnesota, having found a new home and a new business opportunity in Wisconsin.
