Bill Clinton Making More Excuses for Harris Loss in Election

Bill Clinton is suddenly everywhere we turn, but all he is offering up is a sad story about Kamala Harris losing the presidential election to Donald Trump.

Not only that, he still cannot let go of the outcome of the 2016 election.

Comey Cost Hillary the Election

Going back to immediately after the 2016 election, Bill Clinton put all the blame on then-FBI Director James Comey and none of the blame on Hillary and the train wreck of a campaign.

In December 2016, Bill stated, “I was never prouder to cast a vote. I watched her work for two years. I watched her battle that bogus email deal . .. .She prevailed against it all.

“Then in the end we had the Russians and the FBI deal. She couldn’t prevail against that. She did everything else and still won by 2.8 million votes.”

Bill is now doing the media circuit again, cashing in after working the campaign trail for Harris. But, Bill still cannot let that old narrative go, and he has a few new ones for Harris.

Trump Won Fair and Square This Time

As far as Trump winning, Bill stated that he “thinks” Donald Trump won the election fair and square, with no outside influence.

While on “The View” this week, he stated, "This time, Donald Trump won the race, fair and square. I think."

When asked how he is sleeping these days, something he apparently struggled with when Hillary lost her election, he responded, "I'm sleeping better now because I did everything I could for the alternative.

"But I also think it's important for everybody to just take a deep breath and say, unlike in 2016, there was no outside influence like the FBI Director interfering at the last moment in violation of 70 years of policy, and it changed 5% [in polling] overnight." Notice how he still has not let that go.

Making Excuses

While Bill did not blame Trump for doing anything illegal this time around, he had some great excuses for Harris.

According to Bill, Harris had an “impossible” job of introducing herself to voters in roughly three months, stating, “Vice President Harris had an almost impossible job because she became a candidate at a time when no one else could legally access the money that had already been given to Joe Biden and there was no time to have primaries. So she was, in effect, a stranger to people.”

Uhm, Bill, in case you did not notice, Harris was a candidate in the 2020 presidential election, and she did not even make it to the first primary. She was also the VP for the last four years, so she had more than enough opportunities to let the people get to know her.

The good news in all of this is that as long as Democrats refuse to admit the real problems, the GOP can roll right along. If they are not admitting the problems, they are not recognizing them, so they are not addressing them, and that bodes well for the GOP in 2026 and 2028.
