Both Rubio and Vance warn Iran against an attack

On Saturday, Iran got humiliated by Donald Trump, and you knew there would be a response.  

The question was if Iran was out to get blood or just save face, and if it is blood they wanted, they have been put on notice by both Vice President Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Rubio pulled no punches on what will happen to Iran if the terrorist nation goes looking for blood.  

He stated, “If they retaliate, it will be the worst mistake they’ve ever made. 

“Look, we can fly in and out of Iran at will. We went in last night. The president sent our military forces from halfway across the world, went in, conducted this operation, left and not a shot was fired against us.” 

He later stated, “They use diplomacy to hide behind and obfuscate and think they can buy themselves time. They think they’re cute, they’re not cute, and they’re not going to get away with this stuff, not under President Trump.”

Vance is starting to sound more like Donald Trump every day, with that Yale education being put on the back burner for a more direct approach.  

Vance stated, “We’re not at war with Iran. We’re at war with Iran’s nuclear program. We have no interest in a protracted conflict. We have no interest in boots on the ground. We didn’t blow up diplomacy.” 

He added that “it would be the stupidest thing in the world if they” decided to retaliate against the United States.  

Vance then warned of the very same concern I have regarding the Biden administration, stating, “Unfortunately, we know that a lot of people who we don’t have full accounting of were let in over the last four years under the Biden administration.”

On Monday, Iran did carry out a retaliatory strike at a US base in Qatar, but it was clear this was just to save face, giving us advanced warning, which enabled the shooting down of all but one missile that were sent, with the last missile falling harmlessly to the earth.  

Trump has already stated that, as far as he is concerned, this is over. Iran has stated that it does not intend to escalate tensions any further with any other attacks.  

And Israel has even stated that it expects the war to be over within just a few days, as the objective of ending Iran’s nuclear capabilities has been achieved.  

I believe the intention is true by everyone, but I just hope we are not being duped by Iran, hoping to lull us to sleep, then spring a terror attack against the United States. As Vance stated, that would be just stupid because at this point, Trump and Netanyahu are looking for a reason to flatten Iran, and I would suggest the terrorist nation not give it to them.
