Dem leadership wants caucus to dumb it down for voters

If you can believe this, the Democrat Party now thinks it is the smartest person in the room.

Reports are blowing up that leadership has ordered its members to start dumbing down their talking points because the language they are using is “not normal.”

Equity

During the last two years of the Biden administration, equity became the hot talking point, only Democrats usually got their explanations wrong.

One of the more comical explanations was Kamala Harris talking about the difference between equity and equality, talking as though she were speaking to a room of five-year-olds.

The Heritage Foundation destroyed Joe Biden for using this word repeatedly in his “Executive Order on Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government.”

Mike Gonzalez broke down the order in Heritage.Org, stating, “’Equity,’ by the way, appears 21 times, while that old American mainstay of ‘equality’ doesn’t even make a cameo. And there lies an important rub.

The oligarch tour

Next, I give you Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Rep. Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), who flew around the country talking about oligarchy taking over the GOP. Mind you, they did this flying around on a private plane, but I digress.

Sanders was being criticized for the tour, especially since there are so many donors to the Democrat Party who fit the true definition of an Oligarch, such as George Soros.

The tour was so obnoxious, it was not just the GOP criticizing it, but also members of the Democrat Party, including failed VP candidate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.

Sanders, defending his tour, stated, “When the top 1% owns more wealth than the bottom 90%, when big-money interests are able to control both political parties, [Americans] are living in an oligarchy.”

Dumb It Down

Now, Democrat leadership appears to think that these big words are too much for voters to handle, so they are asking their party members to dumb it down, at least according to reports we are seeing.

Senator Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) stated, “Some words are just too Ivy League-tested terms. I’m going to piss some people off by saying this, but ‘social equity’ — why do we say that? Why don’t we say, ‘We want you to have an even chance’?”

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear, a Democrat, added, “I believe that, over time, and probably for well-meaning reasons, Democrats have begun to speak like professors and started using advocacy-speak that was meant to reduce stigma, but also removed the meaning and emotion behind words.”

I am clearly not a Democrat, but I have to say, if my party representatives were saying that about me, I would be pretty upset. It would seem that Sanders is the only person in the party who thinks Democrat voters have brains because this movement is catching on pretty quickly. So, just to recap, during the election, Democrats lost support because they talked at voters instead of listening to their concerns. And now they expect to win them back by calling them stupid… got it!
