Donald Trump hangs mugshot outside Oval Office

Talk about inspirational photos... 

You might think that Donald Trump would hang the photo after being shot outside the Oval Office as a sign of defiance, but he chose a much different iconic photo to hang to remind everyone of the person who sits behind the desk in the Oval Office.  

Trump Arrested, Mugshot Goes Viral 

I think everyone would agree that one of the more iconic Trump photos would be the one taken after he stood up and punched his fist into the air after the failed assassination attempt in Pennsylvania. 

However, before that photo, there was another one taken after Donald Trump had been arrested for the charges presented against him by Fulton County DA Fani Willis.  

Trump’s mugshot featured a scowl that nearly broke the internet, and Trump unashamedly promoted the photo right out of the gate. 

Trump immediately shared the photo on social media, captioning it, “Election interference. Never surrender!” 

Still Fighting  

Fani Willis learned the hard way that bending the rules in a politically motivated case does not work, but the one DA who has failed to get the message is New York Attorney General Letitia James.  

James got a conviction in a case that most would believe was overcharging and overreach. But she had a biased judge in a city with a biased jury pool, so Trump never had a chance here.  

After Trump won the election, even though his election was a clear reprimand against the Democrat agenda, James vowed that she would continue to fight Trump every step of the way.  

After Trump won, she immediately ran to the dais to hold a press conference. After saying that she vowed to fight the administration, she added, "We will not compromise our values, or our integrity, or our principles. ... My office has been preparing for several months because we've been here before." 

Owning It 

Trump has used these prosecutions to drive support, insisting that every case, every charge against him was politically motivated.  

Instead of running from the mugshot, his rapid response team posted a picture of the mugshot that had been blown up and hung right outside the Oval Office, just to ensure that they knew Joe Biden was no longer occupying that office.

Democrats truly thought the arrest of Donald Trump would end his career, but instead, it turned him into a rock star with the American people. Something tells me the real fun is just beginning.
