Emergency trucks swarm White House while Biden away in DE

Joe Biden was in Delaware when it happened, but the security of the White House is still very important regardless of where the president is.

Reports of the discovery of a “suspicious item” left the White House in full-blown emergency mode on Friday.

Emergency vehicles along with the Secret Service hurried to investigate the item, even going so far as to seal off entrances to the White House.

What did they find?

President Joe Biden was in Delaware while this emergency investigation took place. Vice President Kamala Harris was also away.

Maybe even more suspicious, according to reports, the object that was under investigation was reportedly producing a concerning smell.

Live Mint noted that reports also mentioned the item was located “outside the perimeter of the White House, next to the Treasury Building.”

While the White House has not released a statement on the item that was discovered, that did not stop others from taking to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, to share updated of their own on the matter.

One of those X users included senior White House correspondent for ABC News, Selina Wang,

“Emergency trucks just pulled up outside the White House gates Multiple entrances to the White House have been blocked off,” Wang wrote in the post.

You have to admit, that while we appreciate the Secret Service going above and beyond to investigate the suspicious item, a statement should definitely be released.

After the recent assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump, security has been of the utmost importance.

Where is the statement? What did the Secret Service discover?

One would think the agency would jump at the opportunity to prove its competence, yet there has been nothing but silence.

Could oficials be trying to hide something from the American people?

Regardless of what was found OR how you feel about Harris or Biden, we are glad to know they are both safe and unharmed.

Members of the Secret Service are supposed to protect the leaders of this country, and we are glad to see them taking their job seriously.

We also hope for a statement on the agency's discovery in the near future.
