Fani Willis Blocked by Judge

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis was hoping to tell Georgia Republicans to go pound sand.

The Georgia Senate Committee had issued a subpoena against Willis.

Willis was trying to get that subpoena blocked, but the judge just ruled against her.

It’s Gonna Happen

Willis has been served to testify before a Georgia State Senate Committee, but she was trying to kill the order.

According to Willis, being required to testify before the committee could hurt her case against Trump.

Willis told a local media outlet, "I will not appear to anything that is unlawful, and I have not broken the law.

"I’ve said it amongst these leaders, I’m sorry folks get pissed off that everybody gets treated equally."

If she has not broken the law, then how can her testimony or requested documentation hurt her case against Trump?

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Shukura L. Ingram seemed to disagree, ruling against Willis.

Part of the reason the judge ruled against her is that the “emergency” situation no longer exists.

The committee had threatened to hire someone to enforce the subpoena, but that has not yet happened, so the judge stated, "As such, this is no longer an emergency.

"The Motion is denied as there is no emergency and the proper procedure for challenging a subpoena is a motion to quash."

The judge did add that if the committee does move forward, Willis was more than welcome to file again to try to quash the subpoena.

For those of you thinking that this controversy would hurt Willis in her upcoming election, think again.

She convincingly won her primary race, and will now face off against Republican Courtney Kramer.

Fulton County is a solid blue county, however, and we know Democrats do not worry about corruption, so expect Willis to win another term in office.
