FBI Finally Gains Access to Assassin’s Phone

After the assassination attempt on Donald Trump, the FBI quickly moved in to investigate, leading them to the assassin’s home.

Police searched the home, taking all electronics and other relevant evidence from the home.

One of those items was the shooter’s phone, but somehow, the FBI had been unable to crack it, but that just changed.

Breaking the Code

After a day or so of trying to hack into the shooter’s phone, the FBI finally managed to break into the phone to get a look at the shooter’s data.

The agency stated, "FBI technical specialists successfully gained access to Thomas Matthew Crooks’ phone, and they continue to analyze his electronic devices.”

The shooter’s family has been cooperative with authorities during the investigation, which also uncovered explosives and more than a dozen guns inside the home.

A House Homeland Security Committee Spokesperson stated, "The FBI is focused on the gunman, his motive, any potential associations, building a timeline of events, and related matters, while the Secret Service is conducting a separate review of its security protocol.

“Chairman Green is pleased to know the FBI has so far conducted nearly 100 interviews, and has access to the gunman’s phone.

“Chairman Green was assured by EAD Wells that the FBI intends to be transparent with Congress during its investigation.

“Chairman Green intends to schedule a site visit, if possible, once the scene has been processed, and looks forward to being briefed by USSS as soon as possible, as do Committee Members."

So far, the FBI has conducted more than 100 interviews, including the officer who reported that he had climbed up on the roof, but when the shooter raised his gun toward him, he went back down for cover.

Reality set in for Trump a day or two later, with Trump stating, "I’m not supposed to be here, I’m supposed to be dead.

"I’m supposed to be dead."

Had Trump not turned at the exact moment to look at a chart that he was presenting to the crowd, we would be having a very different conversation today.
