They went digging through FEC filings to expose a Black woman for the sin of supporting Republicans. Think about the mechanics here. Someone pulled public donation records, matched an address to a celebrity, and packaged it as an exposé. Not because Chilli broke any law. The post reportedly no longer appears on Chili's page, and the original account that created the content also shares flat-earth, 9/11, and other conspiracy material. Sharing conspiracy content is never a good look, regardless of who does it. But let's be honest about what drove the story. It wasn't the conspiracy post. It was the donations.

The Real Double Standard

Celebrity entertainers who fundraise for Democrats receive magazine covers and glowing profiles. They get called "brave" for endorsing the same candidates that every major media institution already supports. That's not courage. That's compliance.

A celebrity who quietly donates a few hundred dollars to Republicans gets a different treatment entirely. The donations get "uncovered." The social media followers get catalogued. The entire presentation frames ordinary civic participation as something scandalous that needs to be revealed to the public.
