Federal agencies order employees to remove pronouns from email signatures

Just months after taking office, Joe Biden issued an executive DEI order that allowed federal workers to add their preferred pronouns to their email signatures.

That order was just rescinded by Trump, and liberals are losing their minds.

Joe Biden’s Order

Biden Executive Order 14035 was titled, “Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility in the Federal Workforce.”

DEI was a major focus for Joe Biden, and this opened the door to checking boxes and pacifying people who did not “identify” as their birth gender, as well as liberal activists.

I have to be honest… I thought the order was ridiculous, but the liberals ate it up, while the order gave Trump and conservatives more ammo with which to attack Biden for caving to the woke. The order has been in effect, and if you have received an email from a federal worker, there is a very good chance you saw their pronouns in their signature.

I should note that when I was searching for this order, I had to go back to specific dates in order to see it, as my search was 10 pages deep. All I could see were the dozens of headlines upset about Trump ending the order.

Trump Rescinds the Order

Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Acting Director Charles Ezell dropped a bomb on federal employees that the email signatures needed to be absent of pronouns by the close of business on January 31, 2025.

The memo stated, “Pronouns and any other information not permitted in the policy must be removed from CDC/ATSDR employee signatures by 5.p.m. ET on Friday.”

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Chief Information Officer Jason Bonander also addressed the new policy, stating, “Staff are being asked to alter signature blocks by 5.pm. ET today (Friday, January 31, 2025) to follow the revised policy.”

All those who failed to follow the policy were to be put on paid leave “effective immediately.”

Media Goes Berserk

You would think that Trump had walked into a building with a blow torch by the reaction from the media.

Joe Biden left more than 1,000 Americans behind enemy lines in Afghanistan, and it did not even fill a single page of Google results.

Trump orders pronouns removed, and after digging 10 pages in, all with different outlets covering the story, I gave up.

I think the pronoun thing is utterly ridiculous, and I don’t think a government email is a place to push this nonsense. If you want that on your personal email, by all means, go for it, but a government email is simply not the place to push this agenda. Again, I fully support the order and love the fact the entire left and the media is melting down over this.
