Feds Raid Home of Interim NYPD Commissioner

Once again, corruption appears in the political world of New York City.

On Friday, federal authorities raided the home of NYPD Interim Commissioner Thomas Donlon.

This comes only a week after the man who Donlon replaced, Edward Caban, resigned from his position.

Closing In

Donlon confirmed that authorities had raided his home as well as offered some insight into the information they were seeking.

He told the media the feds “took materials that came into my possession 20 years ago and are unrelated to my work with the New York City Police Department.”

He also stated that as far as he knows, the probe has nothing to do with the NYPD.

I guess that is supposed to make whatever corruption he is alleged to have been involved in easier to swallow.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams has been taking fire for all of the raids that have taken place on his watch.

The assumption is that he is either running a corrupt administration or had found every corrupt official in the city to staff his administration.

When City Hall spokesperson Fabian Levy was asked about the latest raid, Levy stated, “As we have repeatedly said, we expect all team members to fully comply with any law enforcement inquiry.”

Some believe this is the feds sending Adams a message that nobody is safe from their scrutiny.

If you recall, Adams was the one who started the Democrat revolt against the Biden administration regarding immigration and shipping out migrants to other cities.

While Adams has tried to play this off as though Texas Governor Abbott is the reason the city is struggling, Biden has sent far more his way than Abbott.

Donlon joins a long list of Adams’ associates that have been rounded up by the feds.

Others who have been caught in this mess are Deputy Mayor for Public Safety Phil Banks, former NYPD official Tim Pearson, Schools Chancellor David Banks, and their brother Terence Banks, and First Deputy Mayor Sheena Wright.

Additionally, on Friday, Molly Schaefer, the head of Asylum Seeker Services in New York, was subpoenaed.

We still have no idea what all this is about or what is brewing, but it is going to be a bombshell when it eventually goes off.
