Fetterman calls on Dems to call out violence during protests

Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) is once again at odds with his party.

This time, it is Fetterman demanding Democrats stop gaslighting the American people and honestly call out the violence that is taking place during these anti-ICE protests.

Breaking ranks

Democrats had to know they had a problem on their hands when Fetterman broke with the party regarding Israel and Palestine.

He has never wavered on that front, even recently touting Trump’s Israel policies.

For instance, he recently stated, "Iran attacked Israel, and it's very clear they lack the capabilities to really project that kind of––and then Israel struck back and destroyed the batteries that protect their nuclear facilities, and they also hit the nuclear lab as well, too. So now, Israel understands that we have a window here to attack that."

He then agreed that Israel has a small window to “destroy that facility,” backing the plan to hit Iran’s nuclear facilities if they do not agree to kill their program.

Hanging Out with Bannon

As if that were not bad enough for Democrats, Fetterman was reportedly caught hanging out with Steven Bannon at a local DC hangout that is popular with the MAGA crowd.

On Monday night, Bannon was reportedly seen at Butterworth’s with Fetterman for about 20 minutes. He also reportedly dined with Matt Boyle, the Washington bureau chief for Breitbart.

Fetterman brushed off the report regarding Bannon, stating, “The run-in with Bannon was inadvertent and impromptu,” but the fact he was even there will surely have Dems steaming.

Just remember, Fetterman also went to Mar-a-Lago after being elected to meet with Trump, which just about had Democrats ready to toss him out of office.

Calling out Dems

Fetterman has always been realistic about protests and violence, and now he is fuming at Dems for pretending there has been no violence during the rioting in LA, as the party is going back to its narrative during the George Floyd riots, calling them peaceful protests while images of burning cars and streets on fire are blowing up all over social media platforms.

Fetterman addressed this, stating, “My party loses the moral high ground when we refuse to condemn setting cars on fire, destroying buildings, and assaulting law enforcement. I unapologetically stand for free speech, peaceful demonstrations, and immigration — but this is not that.”

He later added, “All I’m saying for me, with what has happened, the optics that have emerged, for the vast majority of people, it’s way beyond free speech or protesting.”

Anyone with eyes and common sense can see most Dems are gaslighting the American people, but believe me, there are far too many people who believe their gaslighting, as well as the portrayal of Trump as some kind of madman that wants to unleash the military on US citizens. I believe Trump is doing the right thing to protect small businesses and property, but doing the right thing does not work when the media and elected officials are blatantly lying about what is happening.
