GA Judge Drops 2 Counts in Georgia Election Probe

Donald Trump finally got some good news from the courts in one of his election cases.

Two of the charges in the Georgia RICO case brought by Fulton County DA Fani Willis were just dropped by the judge.

Judge McAfee, who I believe has been more than fair with Trump in this case, said the two counts that were dropped fall under federal jurisdiction, not state.

Dropping the Charges

The two counts dismissed by McAfee are related to the filing of false documents and conspiracy.

This now makes a total of five charges that Willis has seen disappear from her case.

Judge McAfee dropped the first three when he stated there was not enough detail in the documents outlining the charges against Trump.

Trump is now “only” facing eight charges, down from 13 when the case originated.

Donald Trump’s attorney took a victory lap after the announcement was made, stating, "President Trump and his legal team in Georgia have prevailed once again."

Willis, who is still waiting for a hearing to decide whether she can run the case, did not comment on McAfee's ruling.

Due to the case being held up while they decide if Willis is still eligible to present the case, Trump has somehow managed to push all of these federal cases back past the election.

Willis was facing ethics charges after it was revealed that she had an affair with one of the prosecutors assigned to the case, Nathan Wade.

It was also revealed that Wade was being paid more than a RICO specialist who had been brought in, which really raised eyebrows.

In a second allegation, Willis was accused of misappropriating funds from a special grant that was given to her office.

In all, there were 19 defendants named in this case, but several have already taken plea deals.
