GOP-led House to pass bill making it fast to undo Biden's last-minute regulations
As it stands, the congressional process of undoing former President Joe Biden's disgusting and overbearing regulatory moves that he made in his last months in office is, for lack of better words, slow.
That's why, according to the Daily Caller, there's an effort in the GOP-led House to pass a bill that would allow that process to be much quicker.
A bill called The Midnight Rules Relief Act was cleared in the House this week, and it would "amend the Congressional Review Act (CRA) to allow Congress to overturn multiple regulations issued during the last 60 days of a presidential administration."
Right now, Congress can only undo one regulation per resolution, which is not fast enough to undo the damage caused by Biden and his administration.
What's happening?
Speaker Mike Johnson, during the House GOP’s leadership press conference earlier this week, explained why such a bill is an important tool to be as efficient as possible.
“That’s important for efficiency purposes," Speaker Johnson said.
He added, "In the waning months of the Biden administration, there were 1400 unnecessary, harmful, last minute rules that were imposed. Those are things that hurt small business owners and hardworking Americans and families."
The bill was sponsored by Republican Arizona Rep. Andy Biggs, who also believes it to be a critical tool to undo Biden's ridiculous spree of last-minute regulations before he left office.
Joe Biden and his cronies implemented hundreds of new rules and regulations in the waning days of his Administration.
I introduced H.R. 77, the Midnight Rules Relief Act, so Congress can efficiently clear the deck of Biden-Harris administrative tyranny.

"The Midnight Rules Relief Act will allow Congress to clear the deck of America Last rules and regulations imposed by the Biden-Harris regime and will prevent our economy from taking a $1.34 trillion hit," a press release from Biggs' office read.
Social media reaction
Users across social media were generally excited about the possibility of Congress erasing Biden's legacy just a little bit faster.
"Just get it done and get them out of the way!" one X user wrote.
Another X user wrote, "Thank you Andy! We need to make sure ALL Republicans vote to approve this and end this nonsense."
Hopefully, the bill will pass through Congress and be signed by the president sooner than later.
