Harris Caught Taking Trump Comment Out of Context to Mislead Voters
If I had my way, political campaigns would not be able to make statements or buy ads that were filled with lies.
To that point, Kamala Harris just told a doozie, but the media could care less.
Protecting Women
We all know that illegal immigration is always top of mind for the Trump campaign, and it is always mentioned at Trump rallies.
During one recent rally, Trump told the crowd, "I said, well, I'm going to do it. Whether the women like it or not, I'm going to protect them. I'm going to protect them from migrants coming in. I'm going to protect them from foreign countries that want to hit us with missiles, and lots of other things."
In context, Trump was addressing some of the violent crimes committed against women by illegal immigrants, including murder.
The point of Trump’s rant was that by securing the border, he can eliminate these avoidable crimes and protect not only women but everyone in the country.
Harris Attacks Trump
After Donald Trump made the comments, Kamala Harris went on the attack, but boy did she stretch the truth here.
Harris told reports, "It's just, it actually is being very offensive to women in terms of not understanding their agency, their authority, their rights and their ability to make decisions about their own lives, including their own bodies.”
Now, Harris is talking about abortion, yet Trump’s comments were about illegal immigration.
As I have said many times, why is the media not calling this out as a blatant lie? This is not just bending the truth or telling a small fib; it is a blatant and outright lie.
Get It Straight
Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) was on CNN this week when host John Berman cherry-picked a quote from Trump, literally playing a few seconds of a part of Trump’s speech that went on for minutes.
Donalds called out Berman for taking the quote out of context, but Berman insisted that this was the context. Donalds, however, refused to sit back and allow Berman to lie to the American people.
Rather than summarize what he said, watch this combative interview between Donalds and Berman and how all this is misrepresented…
Now, I have criticized Donald Trump probably more than most in the conservative world, but it has all been constructive criticism because I want to see him move the conservative movement forward, not hurt it. In this case, what the media is doing is despicable. You cannot take comments on one subject and turn them into something completely different.
