Harris serves up another word salad in post-election appearance

As we all know, Kamala Harris struggled with public speaking during her vice presidency and the election cycle.

Harris has finally surfaced. She attended "A Wonderful Life," a musical about the life of Louis Armstrong, where she addressed the cast and showed that she simply cannot get away from spewing complete and utter nonsense in public.

The Fox News interview

It was obvious that Harris was being fed questions by interviewers or that considerable editing was done when she was doing interviews with other networks.

When you saw her in person, she served up nothing but word salads, yet in her interviews, she was often coming off far more polished, with the media raving about her.

That all changed when she sat down with Brett Baier on Fox News in what became a very heated interview. Harris was visibly frustrated, and Baier was openly confused by some of her answers that never got around to answering the question being asked.

Harris' camp took a victory lap after the interview, stating, "We feel like we definitely achieved what we set out to achieve in the sense that she was able to reach an audience that’s probably not been exposed to the arguments she’s been making on the trail. " But other than some members of the mainstream media, it was clear the interview was the beginning of the end for Harris.

The '60 Minutes' interview

"60 Minutes" offered to interview both Harris and Trump, but Trump declined to sit down with the show after the fiasco that took place during the previous election cycle.

This appeared to give Harris an edge, especially after the interview aired, as it showed her giving very clear, concise answers to many of the questions, but there was a problem.

CBS had touted the interview on social media, and the question answered by Harris during that snippet was quite different from what Harris said when the interview aired.

When the unedited transcript was finally released, it showed that CBS and "60 Minutes" did considerable editing. In one case, a word-salad answer of 179 words had been cut down to a mere 20 words. Some answers were edited entirely out when it was clear she was spouting nonsense. If she had not been ruined before, this all but ended her political career save a run in California.

Another word salad

Harris has more or less been in hiding since the election, only popping up briefly, but no real public appearances until this week.

Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, attended "A Wonderful World: The Louis Armstrong Musical," where Harris addressed the show's cast, which was caught on camera, unfortunately, for Harris.

Along with her trademark cackling, she spewed a bunch of words that really meant nothing, but I could just not get over the hand gestures and such, as she looked like she was hammered...

The ridicule was immediate and well deserved. The funny thing is that the left is eating this stuff up, as you heard the cast agreeing with every word she said, even though I would guarantee that after she left, they were wondering what Harris was trying to say. If Harris runs for governor in California, she will likely clear the Democrat field for an easy win, but I just don't see her ever successfully running for office again outside that state.
