Jim Acosta May Leave CNN Over Demotion
There is a growing trend in the mainstream media that these TDS newscasters may want to start to pay attention to.
Yet again, a major anchor that was twisting every story to be anti-Trump has been demoted.
Jim Acosta
The latest anchor to find himself in a bad spot is CNN’s Jim Acosta.
Acosta was on White House assignment during the Trump presidency, and was in a nearly daily battle with Trump, to the point that Trump tried to have his credentials suspended.
Acosta was then moved to a desk and given his own show, but the completely anti-Trump narratives continued. Right before Trump took office, Acosta held up a poster on air for a free press, taunting Trump yet again.
Well, it would appear that the network has had enough, relegating Acosta to the midnight slot on the East Coast, but it is now being reported that Acosta may leave the network rather than taking what is clearly a demotion for him.
Don Lemon
Acosta is hardly the first anchor to see this happen, as the squeeze was also put on Don Lemon, another CNN anchor.
Lemon and Chris Cuomo, who were also let go by the network, used to have a daily Trump meltdown during the transition between their shows.
Eventually, CNN had enough of Lemon and moved him over to a morning show, but he was reportedly clashing with the other personalities, and he was ultimately let go.
Lemon found out when X started to blow up, posting, “After 17 years at CNN I would have thought someone in management would have the decency to tell me directly.”
Shepard Smith
Shepard Smith was a Fox News original, but he reportedly left Fox News because the network was far too Trump-friendly for him.
When he left, it was considered a coup by CNBC to scoop him up, but he lasted only about two years on that network.
Smith started off with an average of about 280,000 viewers in 2020, which is horrible, then slid back to 222,000 in 2021, which is when CNBC pulled the plug. In comparison, Jesse Watters was pulling in more than three million viewers in the same time slot for Fox News.
There is a lesson to be learned. You don’t have to be over-the-top supporting Trump, but viewers want the truth and not an overly slanted narrative that is created, which is what all three of the individuals above did on a regular basis.
