Jimmy Carter Reveals Final Wish

Former President Jimmy Carter has been in hospice care for most of the last year.

Somehow, he just hangs in there.

Well, he just revealed the one thing he wants to do more than anything before he dies.

Just One More Vote

Carter was arguably the worst president in modern history before Joe Biden.

Sadly, his last wish will be just as disastrous as his presidency.

Carter, 99, told his grandson there is one thing that is keeping him going these days, “I’m only trying to make it to vote for Kamala Harris.”

Carter will turn 100 on October 1, but he hopes to live until November to make his wish come true.

Dating back to May, his grandson, Jason, believed that the end was near for Jimmy Carter.

At the time, he stated, “He really is, I think, coming to the end that, as I’ve said before, there’s a part of this faith journey that is so important to him, and there’s a part of that faith journey that you only can live at the very end, and I think he has been there in that space.”

Carter actually needs only to hang on for two weeks past his birthday, with early voting starting in Georgia on October 15.

It’s sad, really, that Democrats never really look at the record or the person, just about power.

While Carter was a horrible president during a horrible time for this country, his life after office was his true legacy.

Oddly enough, Carter being in the news now is appropriate with the Olympics going on, with Carter having pulled our athletes out of the 1980 Summer Olympics to protest the Russian invasion of Afghanistan.

The move politicized sports and robbed hundreds of athletes of their dreams when many believed our athletes should have been inspired to beat the Russians during the games to make a bigger statement.

I wish Mr. Carter no ill will, and I surely hope his final days are enjoyable, but I simply cannot support the man’s final wish as it will weaken this country more so than it already is.
