Julian Ortega Drops Dead on Beach in Spain

Netflix fans were stunned when it was announced that actor Julián Ortega, 41, had died.

Ortega was in the very popular Netflix series, “Elite.”

According to reports, the star was at a beach bar in Spain when he suffered a massive heart attack.

He’s Gone

The death of Ortega was a shock, to say the least.

At 41, nobody expected Ortega to suffer a heart attack, let alone one massive enough to take his life.

According to reports, paramedics arrived on the scene almost immediately, but after 30 minutes of treating Ortega, they were unable to revive him.

Goya Award-winning actor Fernando Tejero paid tribute, posting, “Life can be so cruel sometimes. I'm heartbroken, dear friend.

“You were such a great actor and an even better person, Julián Ortega. Fly high.”

Actress Sílvia Marsó added, “He was an incredible actor and a colleague who was as genuine, honest, and kind as his parents.

“I can't even begin to imagine how his parents and everyone who knew him in the industry must be feeling.

“It's just awful. I can't wrap my head around it. I'm filled with absolute sadness.”

Ortega is fairly new to the industry, getting his start in 2012.

He had relative success early on, landing a recurring role in “La Que Se Avecina” in 2012, then getting the role in the Netflix series “Elite” in 2018.

More recently, he had a recurring role in “The Countryside” as well as a recurring role in “4 Estrellas.”

Rest in peace, sir.
