Kamala Harris Gives Jill Biden Icy Stare During Carter Funeral

On Thursday, we buried the oldest living president, Jimmy Carter.  

All living presidents attended, but what caught most people’s attention was the icy stare given by Kamala Harris while Jill Biden snubbed her at the funeral.

I have always believed that there is friction between Kamala Harris and Jill Biden.  

This all started when Harris all but called Joe Biden a racist during the 2020 primary debate. Jill reportedly flipped out backstage.  

To that point, when Biden asked Harris to be his VP, I had stated that I thought it was more a case of keeping your enemy close rather than anything else.  

Well, on Thursday, Harris kind of proved me right. If you were watching the funeral, Jill more or less snubbed Harris, and there was a moment when Harris was caught on camera trying to burn a hole in the back of Jill Biden’s head.  

Trump and Obama 

The other buzz from the funeral was the rather obviously cordial conversation between Donald Trump and Barack Obama.  

Lip readers did their best to figure out what they were saying, and based on their observations, Trump was actually talking policy with Obama, and he wanted to speak to Obama away from the cameras. 

When Trump later saw the interaction, he stated that it looked like two guys that liked each other, and even admitted that while he and Obama are far apart on policy, he has no issues with him personally.  

This interaction created quite a buzz, and it also got the attention of Harris.  

The Harris Sigh 

Trump and Obama were seated right behind Kamala Harris and Doug Emhoff, and Harris could clearly hear them talking, or at least hear Obama talking. 

At one point, she turned to see what was going on, then let out a very noticeable sigh, while also looking clearly perturbed at the fact Obama and Trump were being so cordial.  

I would bet that Harris also has some issues with Obama at this point because there were whispers that Obama did not really want Harris in the race, although he did endorse her and help her campaign down the stretch.  

Now, however, Obama has gone from the golden boy of the party to one of the people being blamed for the huge loss the Dems took in the 2024 election. This is all going to make for a very interesting 2026 and 2028 election seasons. Obama does not appear to have gotten the memo yet about the rebuke in 2024, as he has continued to push the same narratives that cost Democrats in 2024, so will he continue to be the face of the party, or do they go in a different direction?
