Melania gets Carville to pull down report

Over the last few weeks, there have been a lot of negative reports trying to link Melania Trump to Jeffrey Epstein.

James Carville, who has lost all credibility, ran with a report on his show that was pushed back against by the First Lady.

Carville, after getting a love letter from Melania’s attorneys, took down the story and issued a public apology.

Not Really Friends

The media would love everyone to believe that Jeffrey Epstein and Donald Trump were the best of friends, but that is far from the truth.

Yes, Trump and Epstein knew each other, and yes, they hung out in some common circles, but these two were not the best of friends.

That, however, did not stop the media from publishing reports linking the two men, nor did it stop them from latching onto debunked reports about Melania Trump.

Several pieces have been published on this front, and now they have all been taken down.

The Daily Beast

Recently, the Daily Beast published a report about an Epstein associate who also knew Melania, saying he was responsible for introducing Trump and Melania.

That story was immediately challenged, and the publication was forced to take it down.

An editor's note accompanies the retraction, which states, “After this story was published, The Beast received a letter from First Lady Melania Trump’s attorney challenging the headline and framing of the article.

“After reviewing the matter, the Beast has taken down the article and apologizes for any confusion or misunderstanding.”

Carville Cowers

Carville had discussed that report on his show, and it was published in a YouTube video, which led to Melania going after him as well.

He quickly took it down, stating, "In last week's podcast episode, we spoke with Judd Legum. After the episode, we received a letter from Melania Trump's lawyer. He took issue with our title of one of those YouTube videos from that episode and a couple of comments I made about the first lady.

“We took a look at what they complained about, and we took down the video and edited out those comments from the episode. I also take back these statements and apologize.”

Melania celebrated her victory by posting the apology on her X account, with a big “X” through the story on YouTube. You see, this is what happens when you spread gossip and treat it as fact. And this is also why Carville has lost all credibility. He went from being one of the most respected voices in politics to a gossip hound worthy of TMZ.
