Musk appears to rethink his stance against Donald Trump

Last week, liberals and Democrats were beside themselves with joy over the fallout between Elon Musk and Donald Trump.  

While Trump is holding a grudge, Musk appears ready to turn the page, especially after Democrats agreed with him.  

Big mistake 

I don’t feel the need to rehash the entire fight, as I am sure you have been beaten over the head with everything that was said to this point.  

We do, however, want to focus on the comments made by Musk about the Epstein files because it caught the attention of Vice President JD Vance. 

After Musk claimed that Trump was in the files in a manner that created a buzz that Trump was hiding it, Vance stated, "I think it's a huge mistake for him to go after the president like that."

“And I think that if he and the president are in some blood feud — most importantly — it's going to be bad for the country, but I think it's going to be, I don't think it'll be good for Elon either.” 

Musk deletes the post 

I honestly think Musk made that post just to upset Trump, and it worked, as people who were in the room at the time said Trump was livid when he was told what Musk had posted.  

Musk has since decided to take down the worst of the posts he made about Trump, including the Epstein files post that claimed, "@RealDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files."

“That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!" 

Musk also removed the post where he had agreed that Donald Trump needed to be impeached. 

Taking it back 

All it took for Musk to change his narrative on the “big, beautiful bill” was Senator Adam Schiff (D-CA) agreeing him, stating, "I can't believe I'm saying this – but [Elon Musk] is right." 

Musk responded, "Hmm, few things could convince me to reconsider my position more than Adam Schiff agreeing with me!" 

Musk seems to want to put this behind himself and Trump, but I don’t see Trump giving in, at least not yet.  

My belief is that Trump will try to make Musk squirm a bit, then back off as we get closer to the elections so that Musk will open up his checkbook and back the GOP rather than sit out the cycle as he had hinted he would do.
