Musk enjoying high approval rating for how he's running DOGE

The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is kicking butt and taking names, and it's all thanks to President Donald Trump giving Elon Musk the task of using his genius abilities to slash government waste.

According to Breitbart, despite a steady campaign by angry, triggered Democrats who want Musk gone, the Tesla billionaire is basking in a high approval rating for his work at DOGE.

Musk and his DOGE unit have been on a tear in recent days, slashing hundreds of millions of dollars in wasteful government spending, just as he was tasked to do.

Democrats and their media allies are working overtime to bring as much negative press against Musk and DOGE as possible, but it's simply not working, because as it would turn out, cutting government waste is something that most reasonable American voters, party aside, can get behind.

What's going on?

A Rasmussen Reports poll this week revealed that Musk has the approval of the American voter, and it's decisive.

“Do you approve or disapprove of Elon Musk being in charge of the Department of Government Efficiency?” the poll asked its respondents.

Breitbart noted:

Across the board, 55 percent approve. Among those 38 percent “strongly” approve. Another 46 disapprove, and among those, 37 percent do “strongly.”

Not surprisingly, Musk received even higher support when Republicans were asked about his performance on the job so far, as Republicans tend to be fiscally conservative and want the government to spend less -- especially on stupid programs.

Eighty-six percent of the survey takers agreed that reducing “fraud and abuse in the federal government,” is important, with 66% considering the task "very important."

Breitbart added:

Notably, there is a majority consensus across party lines, as 82 percent of Democrats say it is important to reduce fraud and abuse in the federal government, as do 93 percent of Republicans and 84 percent of independents.

Users across social media reacted to the results of the poll, with many agreeing that Musk is doing a fine job running DOGE and saving taxpayers money.

"The American people are thankful that Elon Musk and his doge team are revealing the corruption in our government. We all knew it existed, but now it is being exposed for all to see, "one X user wrote.

Another X user wrote, "Go Elon Go! Follow the money and you'll find the thieves. Then our girl Pam can put them in jail; in the gray bar saloon!"
