Noem headed to El Salvador to visit migrant prison

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem loves her photo ops, and she is about to create one that already has the left melting down.

According to reports, Noem is going to visit the prison in El Salvador where Trump sent a group of alleged illegals who were reportedly gang members and criminals.

Time to go

The Trump administration is now neck-deep in litigation over the deportation of more than 300 illegal immigrants to El Salvador.

Border Czar Tom Homan has insisted every one of these illegals were gang members and criminals, which is why they are deported.

The deportation was challenged within hours of its occurrence. The planes were already airborne, and the Trump administration defied the judge’s order to turn the planes around.

If Trump loses the case, he could be forced to bring them all back to stand trial.

Paul believes Trump will lose

Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) is one of the more common-sense politicians we have in D.C., who never pulls a punch.

Trump may not be happy with Paul’s assessment of these deportations, as he seems to believe that Trump will be forced to bring all these migrants back for due process before they can be officially deported.

Paul stated, “There are some big legal questions here. On the one hand, The Bill of Rights applies to everyone, to persons. The Bill of Rights doesn’t specifically designate citizens. It’s anyone in the United States, The Bill of Rights applies to. On the other end, The Alien and Enemies act says you don’t get much process. The president can declare that you are somehow a problem for foreign policy and opposed to our foreign policy you can be deported. Ultimately, this goes to the court.”

He then added, “I think the courts will rule there has to be process. I think there’s going to be a process afforded by the courts for representation before you are deported in most cases. I don’t know about the ones under the Alien and Enemies Act. I’m not sure anybody knows that. While I love constitutional law, I’m not a constitutional lawyer. I think it goes to the Supreme Court and there are arguments to be made on both sides.”

Noem Visiting Prison

Noem said she wanted to take a trip to the prison where these illegals are being held to send a clear message.

DHS Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs Tricia McLaughlin stated, "President Trump and Secretary Noem have a clear message for criminal aliens considering entering America illegally: don’t even think about it.

"If you come to our country and break our laws, we will hunt you down, and lock you up."

There will be cameras with Noem, and they are likely to get some pictures of the inside of this prison, barring objections due to security concerns. The purpose of the photos will be to let every criminal illegal immigrant in this country see their future home unless they self-deport.
