NYC mayor caught socializing with antisemite

In a day and age where no action is left unnoticed, New York City Mayor Eric Adams just made a doozie of a mistake.

After sliding out of bribery charges and rumors about his nightlife, for some reason, Adams thought it would be nice to fire up a stogie with Nicolas “Nico” Kenn De Balinthazy, a known antisemite.

Party Time

Adams had barely taken office when he started to get called out for living the life fantastic as the mayor of New York City.

Adams had been seen at many different night spots in the wee hours, and people started to question his commitment to the job, but Adams claimed he was doing this job by visiting the nightlife of the city.

He responded, “My nightlife is a multi-billion-dollar industry. People are afraid to go back out to restaurants; now they see our mayor going out saying ‘come back out to our city.’ That is what the whole theme is.

“It’s a 24-hour city. When I go out I am patronizing my restaurants, my hotels, my dishwashers, my cooks. Then, what I do next, I go into the subway system to see if my midnight people are working. I go into my hospitals. I go visit this 24-hour city.”

Bribery Scandal

Last September, Adams was indicted on bribery charges, with the DOJ stating at the time, “As alleged, Mayor Adams abused his position as this City’s highest elected official, and before that as Brooklyn Borough President, to take bribes and solicit illegal campaign contributions.

“By allegedly taking improper and illegal benefits from foreign nationals—including to allow a Manhattan skyscraper to open without a fire inspection—Adams put the interests of his benefactors, including a foreign official, above those of his constituents.

“This Office and our partners at the FBI and DOI will continue to pursue corruption anywhere in this City, especially when that corruption takes the form of illegal foreign influence on our democratic system.”

Adams later conned Trump into having the charges dropped, and what appeared to be an open-and-shut case was dismissed.

Bad Choices

The point of all this is that Adams has no wiggle room, but he keeps being his own worst enemy.

Case in point, Adams hosting antisemitic influencer Sneako, whose real name is Nicolas “Nico” Kenn De Balinthazy, and controversial influencer Amber Rose, who joined Adams at his residence for a little chat.

When Adams' campaign was asked to explain, it stated, ”Mayor Adams has always stood strongly with the Jewish community and will continue to do so without compromise. He has a long and proud record of fighting antisemitism, supporting Jewish causes, and building lasting relationships with Jewish leaders across the city and state.”

The campaign tried to justify the appearance, adding, “The Mayor is frequently interviewed by a wide range of streamers, podcasters, and media figures from many backgrounds. While he does not share the views of all who interview him, his values remain unwavering.” Sometimes, you just need to say no, and this was one of those times.
