Obama Starts Gaslighting in First Appearance After Election

Barack Obama showed up late for the 2024 election, and he was not happy with the direction the youth of his party had taken.

After a small break, Obama is back, and reports are that he plans on hitting the road steadily to counter Trump’s presidency.

Get Over Yourselves

When it became clear that younger voters were not backing Harris, specifically, young black men, Barack Obama was called in to help Harris.

What ended up happening was Obama getting caught on tape berating a group of young men, more or less telling them they needed to vote for Harris because she is black, like them. That is identity politics to the Nth degree, but it didn’t work.

Obama also tried to shame them for not wanting to vote for a woman, adding, “Part of it makes me think — and I'm speaking to men directly — part of it makes me think that, well, you just aren't feeling the idea of having a woman as president, and you're coming up with other alternatives and other reasons for that.”

It did not work, obviously, but Obama is doubling down on this again. Not only that, but it would appear that Obama is digging in for the long haul, apparently planning on pushing back against Trump’s policies throughout this presidency.

He’s Back

Barack Obama is back on the speaking circuit, and it would appear that he is trying to get everyone fired up and at each other’s throats again.

He spoke of one group trying to get a “permanent grip on power” by suppressing votes or politicizing the military. Now, I don’t know about you guys, but that sure sounds an awful lot like what the Democrats have been doing. As usual, however, this is Obama accusing the right of what the left has done.

After years of ramming their agenda down our throats, now Obama is promoting “pluralism,” stating, "It means that in a democracy we all have to find a way to live alongside individuals and groups who are different than us.”

Things are relatively calm right now, far calmer than I thought they would be, but these little digs by Obama get me worried about Dems getting everyone whipped up leading to inauguration day.

Can We Have Unity?

Trump has been pushing a unity message throughout the campaign, even though it has been mixed in with the occasional cup of venom. Even so, I do believe Trump would like a less hostile environment this time around.

I believe Trump would have pardoned Hunter Biden to try to extend an olive branch, but I also believe it would have been slapped away by Democrats, so, on that front, I am glad it was Joe Biden who issued the pardon.

Trump has asked his supporters to “forgive” Joe Biden as well. Of course, most believe Trump is joking about this, but if you notice, Trump has been very quiet this time around unless someone comes after him. He has been mostly defensive, so perhaps there is a small chance the adults are back in the room again.

I actually think most people are politically exhausted right now, so there could be peace, but I just don’t see Democrats allowing that to happen. I look at these talks by Obama and the moves Pelosi is making with House leadership, and I think Democrats are just getting started.
