Omar says now not the time to point fingers
It sure is interesting how the Democrat narrative changes with the wind.
When Democrats think they can blame things on Trump supporters, they cannot point the finger quickly enough. When the shoe is on the other foot, as happened to Rosie O'Donnell this week, it is rather amazing how righteous and empathetic they become.
Minneapolis shooting
The shooting that took place in Minneapolis was horrific.
When the story first broke, the shooter was constantly described as “he” or “him” by the media, but we later found out the shooter was a transgender woman.
Even so, everyone kept referring to “him,” then conservatives started to latch onto the narrative that many of the recent mass shootings have been carried out by transgenders.
The online world blew up over this, with Democrats immediately coming out to defend them. I will concede that you cannot decry an entire group over the actions of a few, as Dems regularly do to us. But there is no denying what has happened, and it clearly deserves some investigation.
Rosie strikes again
Rosie O’Donnell is a perfect example of what takes place in such these cases. She thought she had MAGA over a barrel on this one, stating, "What do you know? It was a white guy, Republican, MAGA person. What do you know? White supremacists."
She was then forced to apologize after the facts came out, stating, "I knew a lot of you were very upset about the video I made before I went away for a few days. You are right. I did not do my due diligence before I made that emotional statement, and I said things about the shooter that were incorrect.”
She continued, "I assumed, like most shooters, they followed a standard MO and had standard, you know, feelings of… you know, NRA-loving kind of gun people. Anyway, the truth is I messed up, and when you mess up, you fess up. I’m sorry. This is my apology video and I hope it’s enough."
Had she been a conservative, she would have been torched in the media. Instead, everyone is slapping her on the back for apologizing (and if you listen to it, it was far from being sincere).
Omar chimes in
Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) has thrown her fair share of stones at Republicans and conservatives, but now she doesn’t want anyone to point a finger. Sebastian Gorka, who serves as President Trump’s deputy assistant and senior director for counterterrorism, noted the same trend as the online trolls, stating, “In just a couple of years, we have seen seven mass shootings involving people of transgender nature or who are confused in their gender identity. That is inordinately high.”
He then added, “It’s not about the sexual proclivities of the individual. It’s the fact that nobody seems to notice a very disturbing pattern towards violence.”
Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) then responded, “These people are all over the place because they want to deflect from the reality, which is that, there was, someone who came into that school, through the window, and assassinated two beautiful angels, as they prayed. This is not the moment to point fingers.”
Oh, I see… when it is MAGA, you get to call them racists, neo-Nazis, and every other name in the book. But when it is someone who falls under the purview of the liberal umbrella, we cannot point fingers. I got it now.
