PBS Correspondent Apologizes for Fake News Report on Trump

Earlier this week, a rather irresponsible report was published by several outlets that had not been confirmed.

The usual unnamed sources accused Donald Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu of purposely blocking a cease-fire until after the election.

PBS ran with the report as well and was later forced to eat some crow.

Bad Reporting

The report first went live on Axios and Reuters.

The publications alleged that Trump had worked the deal with Netanyahu to hurt Democrats in the election.

Both Trump and Netanyahu denied the report, but PBS correspondent Judy Woodruff went live with the story, claiming she had not seen those reports.

She was then forced to apologize when she was called out for reporting the fake news.

She stated, “This was a mistake, and I apologize for it.”

That is just not good enough for me because I am sick and tired of unnamed sources being used in these random reports.

For all we know, these are made-up stories by these reporters just to get some clicks and likes on their social media accounts.

Not to mention, the initial story is what gets all the attention, not the apology for the bad reporting.

If someone cannot put their name on it, there should be no story, but that is not how journalism works these days.

It seems that nine out of 10 reports these days have anonymous sources, and they are wrong more often than not.

As long as Trump is in the political world, I would expect that to continue due to the sheer hatred of the man by the left and liberal media.

They are no longer worried about the truth if they think it will hurt Trump and keep him out of office.

And that is not news, my friends… It’s propaganda.
