Pelosi buries Joe Biden… again

Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has just used both hands to push Joe Biden under the bus.

Pelosi, during a recent interview, stated that had Biden stayed in the race, she believes they would have lost worse than they did.

Pushing Joe Out

Just about four months away from the election, right after the debate, Biden, who was already struggling in polling, crashed and burned.

This sent a wave of panic through the entire Democrat Party, and leadership decided to squeeze Biden out of the race, even though most of them denied it.

Pelosi, however, did not, actually basking in the coup, telling the media, "But in any event, we just have to win the election.”

Pelosi then tried to make it out as though she was doing the right thing, stating, "I think his legacy had to be protected" and "I didn't see that happening in the course that ... the election was on."

Worse Losses

As far as I can tell, Joe Biden and Pelosi have not spoken in person since Joe was pushed out, and Jill Biden is clearly holding a grudge.

Well, Pelosi just poured more gasoline on that fire, stating, “Well all I know is that we won a seat in the House. We did not lose any seats. People were like ‘oh the Democrats lost,’ no, we did not. I think it would’ve been quite different with President Biden at the top of the ticket.”

Keep in mind, Joe Biden is still telling people he thinks he would have won.

According to Pelosi, because they picked up a seat in the House, which Dems were actually favored to win outright, she believes they did better. An argument could easily be made the other way, as voting numbers were way down and Trump picked up ground in demographics where Biden dominated Trump in the 2020 election.

No Jill

As I stated, Jill Biden is holding a grudge, with Jill publicly stating that she was “disappointed” in Pelosi for leading the coup against her husband.

Pelosi was asked having spoken to Jill and her comments, and she responded, “No, I haven’t. But the fact is, we’re all on a mission for the American people, for America’s working families. My whole passion about being in politics is for the children. So what is it that we’re doing for the children?

“I think it would’ve been important for the children to not have Donald Trump be President of the United States, and I would take every step necessary to make sure that didn’t happen. But it did, and now we have to deal with it.”

Pelosi is no longer the recognized leader of the Democrat House caucus, but I think it is safe to say that she is pulling the strings behind the curtain. It seems pretty obvious because Rep. Jeffries (D-N.Y), the new party leader in the House, has yet to put his stamp on the caucus, and I don’t think he will ever be able to do that as long as Pelosi remains in office.
