Rep. Crockett hyped about removing Trump if Dems win House

I have been saying all along that if Democrats manage to take back the House in the 2026 mid-term elections, we will see a replay of 2019, when they tried to impeach Trump during his first term.

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) has repeatedly admitted she is only there to try to stop Trump, and now she is stepping up her plans if Dems take back the House.

I’m not here to legislate

We elect people to the House and Senate to represent the will of the people in Congress, not to carry out personal vendettas.

That, however, is what Crockett has openly admitted she is doing.

During a local interview here in Dallas, she was asked about challenges legislating, and she responded, “‘Trying to pass.’ Uh, no. You know, I should probably be a better politician and tell you, ‘Yes, we’ve got all this amazing legislation that I can absolutely imagine Donald Trump signing into law.’ I’m just not gon’ lie.

“I think that right now, it is about preserving our basics and getting back some of the norms — the norms that make sure that people have food on the table, the norms that make sure that people aren’t going through any extra layer of stress when it comes to figuring out education for their kids.”

Sworn duty

Crockett knows she has a sworn duty, but she is choosing to overlook most of it solely to go after Trump.

To that point, she was recently asked about what will happen if Democrats do manage to take back the House in 2026.

She responded, “Well Alex, I’m glad you asked. Listen, so long as we end up taking the House, which I fully anticipate that we will do and we are gonna work hard to obviously help our Senate colleagues as well.

“Then as someone who serves on the Oversight Committee and hopes to lead the Oversight Committee, I can guarantee you that we will do what we are supposed to do as constitutionally sworn members of the House.”

Tunnel vision

After making that statement, Crockett explained what she was really looking forward to doing. She continued, “That means that we will investigate. We will look at whether or not this president himself has violated the Emoluments Clause as it relates to say such things as getting a $400 million plane from the Qataris."

“We also will make sure that we’re looking into all these business deals that they have going on. I mean, think about it this way, Alex. they were going after Hunter because he sat on a board."

“Think about how much money they are raking, raking in, whether we’re talking about the next golf resort that they’re setting up in Qatar or whether we’re talking about them leveling Gaza, as they’ve talked about and talked about how it would be great beachfront property, whether we’re talking about this crypto scam, the scam that people didn’t even want to walk into and show their faces.”

Listen, I will be the first person to tell you that if the Trump family is doing something crooked, go after them. They don’t get a pass from me just because he is a Republican. But I would also ask why Congress is not excited about oversight now, as in requiring every department to come before its respective committee to explain line-by-line spending to get rid of the fraud and waste.

As I have stated before, this is what happens when you have people looking to become social media stars in office rather than treating the spending of taxpayer money like a business. This is why we are more than $36 trillion in debt and finding out every day how much money our government has wasted or just blown because nobody was watching the books.
