Rep. Jasmine Crockett latest to fire shots at Schumer

As we have noted in other reports, Senator Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) has been under serious fire for allowing the GOP to pass its spending bill.

The latest to attack him is Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), who also happens to be getting a hard look from Attorney General Pam Bondi for comments she made about Musk.

Not Stepping Down

Schumer has been defiant to the calls, refusing to even consider stepping down.

This is not surprising because Schumer is not back up for election until the 2028 cycle, and that spending bill will be long forgotten history by then.

When Schumer was asked about the pressure being applied, he responded, "Look, I’m not stepping down. I knew that when I cast my vote against the government shutdown that there would be a lot of controversy."

He later added, "The CR was certainly bad, you know the continuing resolution, but a shutdown would be 15 or 20 times worse. Under a shutdown, the executive branch has sole power to determine what is ‘essential.’ And they can determine without any court supervision. The courts have ruled it's solely up to the executive what to shut down.”

Crockett Talks Schumer Take Down

Crockett is the latest golden child of the Democrat Party, which seems to be more interested in social media stars and foul-mouthed ragers rather than legislators these days.

When Crockett ran for office, she came off as very well-spoken, mannered, and professional. Now she does dance videos on TikTok and drops F-bombs when the media sticks a microphone in her face.

While she did not directly call out Schumer, she did land some shots, stating, "I've talked to some donors that are trying to get very creative, but I think that it is a little bit reminiscent of what we saw happen when Joe Biden was taken down.

"There were a lot of elected members of Congress that decided that they wanted to play in that conversation. So it’ll be interesting to see how many senators decide that they want to start engaging in that conversation."

Getting in Trouble

Crockett now has the attention of Attorney General Pam Bondi after she had stated, “On March 29, it’s my birthday, and all I want to see happen on my birthday is for Elon to be taken down.”

Bondi did not like the phrasing of the statement, as we all know the left loonies will take that as a way to promote physical violence. Bondi responded, “She is an elected public official, so she needs to tread very carefully because nothing will happen to Elon Musk, and we’re going to fight to protect all of the Tesla owners throughout this country. Domestic terrorism is going to come to a stop in our country.”

Crockett then responded, “I have never promoted violence whatsoever, yet I’ve also never made [an] excuse for those violent actors such as the ones on January 6. So Pam Bondi, if you have an issue with terrorism, maybe you should talk to your boss about locking back up those guys that he let out that participated in January 6.”

Ms. Crockett, in case you have not noticed, people are firebombing dealerships and attacking Tesla cars on our city streets, and you are talking about “taking him down.” As Bondi said, you better tread carefully before you find yourself indicted.
