Rep. Jasmine Crockett openly admits status as DEI hire

The new firebrand of the Democrat Party, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), just about broke the Internet with a confession this week.

Crockett told the story of how she was hired into one of her first professional jobs, openly admitting that she kicked her way through the door because she was Black.

Crockett admitted that at the time she was hired as a public defender, she had no serious qualifications other than the color of her skin, which she apparently played up.

She stated, “When I first became a public defender, I had no criminal defense experience, and I walked in, and I told my boss, Charlie, I said, ‘Listen, you should hire me.’ He said, ‘Why?’ I said, ‘Because I’m Black.'”

Crockett continued, “Charlie looked at me like I was crazy. Let me tell you something, when I walk in, I’m going to walk in with a level of rapport and understanding that maybe some of my other colleagues will not.”

Needless to say, Crockett got the job.

Not a crime

You have to take the above story in conjunction with this report to understand just how ridiculous all of this is.

Crockett was on MSNBC talking about illegal immigration, which is indeed a crime, according to Title 8 USC 1325, yet this “attorney” says it is not.

The controversial lawmaker stated, "[Republicans] are so outraged by these immigrants and the crime that they’re bringing. And not to mention, city law enforcement, local law enforcement, they are always going after crime. And they don’t say, ‘oh, you committed a murder, oh, but you’re an immigrant. Well, let me let you go.’ Right? So they are always focused on crime."

Crockett went on, "They continue to say things like ‘the illegals’ and that they broke the law coming in. But what they’re not telling the American people is that it is a civil violation. It is not a criminal violation to enter the country illegally. It’s not. It’s not criminal. It’s not a crime. It’s not a crime.”

Such a hypocrite

I have one more story to tell about Crockett before I drop this, and I am only doing this because of how much traction she is getting in the media right now.

During a recent appearance, when Crockett disrespected our state's governor, Greg Abbott, calling him “Governor Hot Wheels,” she claimed that she had never taken any money, “zero dollars” from any corporate PAC.

Yet, her campaign finance disclosures tell a different story. Crockett has 22 different donations on her forms that are described as PACs. Since 2022, her records show that she has taken in more than $370,000 from PACs, including pharma and banking companies.

The final nail in the coffin for Crockett is a trip to Doha, Qatar, which cost about $17,500, that was funded by the U.S. Qatar Business Council, which is tied to the Qatar government, which supports Hamas. So, we have yet another member of Congress with less than six degrees of separation to a terrorist organization. Chew on that one for a bit.
