Report exposes true nature of Biden administration censorship

Where you get your news from will largely decide the information you see on this subject, which is the censoring of conservatives over the last few years.

I know the sources I trust, but that is because I lived through and experienced this censorship firsthand. Having said that, it now appears the situation was far worse than even I realized.

Zuckerberg Shocking Admission

As far as the mainstream media goes, the censorship of conservatives was a conspiracy theory.

I have reported numerous times about a publication I was running at the time that solely relied on social media until Facebook shut us down. Overnight, our pages with millions of fans went from generating tens of thousands of readers within minutes to just a few hundred, and that is if we were lucky.

Facebook’s Zuckerberg pulled back the curtain just a bit on this last summer, writing a letter to the House Judiciary Committee on the censorship requests he received from the Biden administration.

In part, the letter stated, “I believe the government pressure was wrong and I regret that we were not more outspoken about it. I also think we made some choices that, with the benefit of hindsight and new information, we wouldn’t make today. We’re ready to push back if something like this happens again.”

Shooting It Down

With Democrats still in charge of the House, the House published a report claiming that conservatives' claims were “baseless.”

The report stated, “Republicans including Donald Trump have raged against Twitter and Facebook in recent months, alleginganti-conservative bias, censorship and a silencing of free speech. According to a new report from New York University, none of that is true.

“Disinformation expert Paul Barrett and researcher J Grant Sims found that far from suppressing conservatives, social media platforms have, through algorithms, amplified rightwing voices, ‘often affording conservatives greater reach than liberal or nonpartisan content creators.’”

I can tell you flat out that was not the case, and my problems were not just on Facebook. I also experienced this on Twitter, now X, where I had thousands of fans. Before we were put in the penalty box, I would get hundreds, if not thousands, of interactions on every post, but that too was quickly taken down to virtually nothing.

All Lies

A new study has been released by the Media Research Center (MRC), and it revealed that the Biden White House had 57 different initiatives, at least, to censor Americans.

The Fox News report claimed, The most egregious violations of our freedom of speech took the form of direct action, such as when White House advisor Andy Slavitt pressured Amazon to ban books criticizing the government’s response to COVID, or when the White House and the National Institute of Allergy & Infectious Disease threatened Meta into censoring COVID content.”

The report continued, “The MRC report lays out in blistering detail how our tax dollars went to far-left organizations like the Poynter Institute or Newsguard, which produce highly biased, often laughable reports about accuracy in the news to scare advertisers away from conservative news content.”

I cannot even begin to tell you how many of my liberal friends tell me to my face I am lying about all of this. I liken it to having grown up in Philadelphia as a Dallas Cowboys fans. I literally had people in my face my entire life over this, yet Eagles fans still tell me they never saw that type conduct and I am just making it up. I would tell them that if they want to see how horrible these people are, put on a Cowboys jersey and walk around town. So I say the same thing here… act like a conservative on social media, then tell me if you believe me or not.
