REPORT: Harris had ‘death-pool roster’ in case Biden died in office
Now that Biden is out of office, as predicted, the tell-all books are flying into bookstores.
One interesting report I found was how Harris was preparing for Joe to die in office.
The Death Pool
"Fight: Inside the Wildest Battle for the 000000000000000000000000000000.White House," which I now have on my desk and cannot wait to read, has all kinds of tasty little morsels about the Biden administration.
One of them was how Harris was apparently putting together a “death-pool roster” of judges to swear her into office if Joe had suddenly passed away.
The book reported, "Simmons believed Harris would be strengthened by an institutional stamp of approval if she were sworn in hurriedly because Biden had died unexpectedly. Her legitimacy might be questioned, he worried, recalling the January 6 effort to stop Biden from being certified as president.
"The strongest validator, he believed, would be a federal judge who had been appointed by a Republican other than Trump. He compiled a spreadsheet of those jurists across the country, down to a city-by-city breakdown, and carried it with him when he traveled with Harris."
Joe’s Fault
The divide between Harris and Biden became apparent as the election played out, as Harris’ camp had no problem blaming Joe for the loss. They appeared to be hoping for a Biden death, but that never came.
And since Biden hung around too long for their liking, they immediately started to point the finger at Biden for the loss.
Thom Reilly, co-director of the Center for an Independent and Sustainable Democracy at Arizona State University, stated, “Maybe in 20 or 30 years, history will remember Biden for some of these achievements. But in the shorter term, I don’t know he escapes the legacy of being the president who beat Donald Trump only to usher in another Donald Trump administration four years later.”
Andrew Yang, another Democrat primary candidate, added, “The biggest onus of this loss is on President Biden. If he had stepped down in January instead of July, we may be in a very different place.”
Biden Legacy Damaged
Joe Biden was already considered one of the worst presidents in modern history, and the way the 2024 election went down will not help his case.
Something I am curious about, however, is how these stories will impact the Biden legacy as well as that of Harris.
If Harris was putting together a death-pool list, as the book claims, she had to have reason to believe that Biden was not all there or having health issues that could result in his death while in office.
Something tells me these books are going to stir some things up, which could create some serious challenges for the Democrat party moving forward, if not some serious legal issues. If I were the RNC, I would be pouncing all over this, demanding the Attorney General appoint a special counsel to investigate what was a clear coverup by the Biden administration from top to bottom.
