REPORT: Harris was ‘annoyed’ it took Obama so long to endorse her

Kamala Harris is not nearly as old as Joe Biden, but she is as delusional.

Case in point, Harris was apparently very upset that it took Obama so long to endorse her after Biden dropped out, but she was clearly not his first choice.

Biden Drops Out

On July 21, 2024, Joe Biden made the unprecedented move of dropping out of the presidential race after having secured the nomination because he was clearly lagging in polls and the party was putting pressure on him to step down.

This was about two weeks after this disastrous debate with Donald Trump that put all of Joe’s mental issues out there to a point that even Democrats could no longer deny it.

Biden stated, “It has been the greatest honor of my life to serve as your President. And while it has been my intention to seek reelection, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my term.”

Thirty minutes later, he more or less ended the guesswork by endorsing Harris, stating, “Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year. Democrats — it’s time to come together and beat Trump.”

Obama Endorses Harris

By Wednesday of that week, most Democrats fell in line and threw their support behind Harris. This included delegates, who made it clear they were all going to support Biden’s choice.

The Obamas, however, were silent, not making any announcement until Friday, a full five days after Joe threw his support behind his VP.

In a video, Barrack Obama stated, "We called to say Michelle and I couldn't be prouder to endorse you and do everything we can to get you through this election and into the Oval Office.” Michelle added, "I am proud of you. This is going to be historic."

Harris responded, "This means so much to me. I am looking forward to doing this with the two of you, Doug and I both, and getting out there, being on the road. But most of all, I just wanna tell you that the words you have spoken and the friendship that you have given over all these years mean more than I can express."

Kamala Annoyed

Getting the nomination about 100 days out of the election meant that every second of every day was crucial, and here nearly a full week went by before the golden child of the party announced he would be supporting her campaign.

Whispers were being made that Obama was not happy with how all this went down, knowing people would be upset if they just handed Harris the nomination, as he and Pelosi had apparently cooked up some scheme to at least give the appearance of an open primary.

In "Fight: Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House,” it is revealed that Harris was not happy, claiming, "As the hours rolled by, and it became clear that she was well on her way to seizing the nomination by storm, Obama's opposition to her grew more confounding. Harris was ‘very annoyed’ with him, according to a confidant. They had plenty of donors and political allies in common. The rest of the party threw in with her. Where was Obama?"

I find this all very interesting because right now, Harris is the early favorite to get the nod in the 2028 election, even though she will likely be the governor of California by then. There is clearly a power struggle and preference difference among the elites, and I have to question if they will really want to see Harris atop that ticket with how badly she bombed in 2024. Time will tell, my friends, but it looks like we have a bit of a tussle going on in the Democrat Party right now.
