REPORT: Major Media Outlet Wants to ‘Bury’ Trump Assassination Photo

A bit of a shocking report has surfaced regarding the iconic photo of Trump with his fist raised after the botched assassination attempt against the former president.

According to the report, an assessment by Axios recommended burying the photo because it proved “free PR” for the Trump campaign.

It even went so far as to call the image “photoganda.”

The image was captured by the Associated Press’ Evan Vucci.

He was in the right spot at the right time, capturing an upward-looking photo of Trump surrounded by Secret Service agents, with a bloodied ear and blood-smeared face, pumping his fist into the air with the American Flag waving above him.

It is a picture that will define Trump, but Axios wants to see it go away.

The report in Axios cited a photo editor, who reportedly stated, "The amount that publications have been using Evan's photo is kind of free PR for Trump in a way, and it's dangerous for media organizations to keep sharing that photo despite how good it is.”

Psychotherapist Jonathan Alter explained, "The image and the preceding event perfectly capture the raw vulnerability of a powerful former leader at his most vulnerable moment likely ever in his life, only to be followed by that of perseverance, strength, and defiance in the face of evil.

"This image very well encapsulates the essence of what most Americans have come to admire in our heroes  --both in fiction and in real life -- and in those we look towards to lead: emerging from chaos with resilience and authority, and unwavering toughness.

"Frankly, one that might change the narrative on ‘toxic masculinity.’"

On the photo itself, Vucci stated, "I was literally just thinking about doing the best possible job I could, because I knew that this was a moment in American history that I had to be at the top of my game for.”

He later added, "I knew immediately that it was going to be one of the most important things I'll ever photograph.”

That is saying something coming from a Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer who probably locked up the award again for this shot.

Funny how the liberal media wants to hide history when it will help a Republican because you better believe if you put Biden in that photo, they would be printing posters already.
