Schiff asked if Biden administration misled public
I could not help but laugh when I saw Senator Adam Schiff (D-CA) on the morning show circuit this weekend being asked if the Biden administration misled the American people about Biden’s mental health.
Of all people to ask… the one member of Congress who has been caught repeatedly lying to the American people.
The Schiff memo
If we go back to the Trump Russian-collusion narrative that was being pushed by Democrats, the leader of that was then-Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA).
Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) issued a memo outlining FISA abuses and other problems with the Russian collusion investigation into Donald Trump’s campaign.
Schiff then issued a memo to counter the memo by Nunes, claiming everything that Nunes had said was a lie, but the IG investigation proved that it was Schiff who had been lying, proving that seven claims made by Schiff were false.
Even so, the media continues to lean into everything that Schiff had said, and Schiff continued to spew those lies for years.
Schiff censured
Schiff was never really held accountable, only facing a censure from the House for his lies, which is really nothing more than a public slap on the wrist, far less than he deserved.
Before the vote, even with a report in hand saying that he lied, Schiff was defiant, stating, “I will not yield. Not one inch.”
As then-House Speaker McCarthy (R-CA) called the vote, Democrats were yelling, “Censure us all!”
The vote came down along party lines at 213-209, with not a single Democrat holding Schiff accountable for his blatant lies to the American people.
Deceiving America
When Schiff showed up on “Meet the Press” this weekend, it was almost comical to hear him spin the narrative on whether the Biden administration misled the American people.
When he was asked the question, Schiff responded, "It’s hard for me to gauge what the closest advisers of the president were seeing at the time. I can only speak to the interactions that I had with him, which were, you know, in the months leading up to his getting out of the race, largely ceremonial occasions.
"He made the decision to get out of the race, I think that was the right decision. The vice president, as the vice president, I think, ran a great campaign, but could not run away from being a representative of the status quo.”
As a member of Congress, as a leader of the Democrat caucus in the House, was it not his duty to investigate Biden’s mental health and call for him to be ousted via the 25th Amendment if necessary? Instead, Schiff was like every other Democrat, telling Americans Joe Biden was sharp and ready to go. He is not capable of telling the truth, yet this is the man the media asks for honesty about Joe Biden… It’s comical, to say the least.
