Schumer’s ‘The Apprentice’ comments about Trump going viral again

There was a time when Donald Trump was the golden child of Democrats, with many of them very complimentary and even suggesting that Trump run for office.

The latest video to resurface on this front is from Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY), and I would bet just about anything he wishes he had never made these comments.

The Business prodigy

Today, Chuck Schumer would say that Trump was a horrible businessman and never should have been considered to run for president.

But back in 2006, Schumer stated, "Even when [Trump] was much younger, you knew that he was going to go places."

Today, Schumer is saying that he and Trump were never friends, despite the claims of “The Apprentice” in 2006 in that video.

Schumer even pushed back on the comments, stating, "Donald Trump is a lawless, angry man. The fact that The Apprentice President Donald ‘You’re Fired’ Trump is refusing to hold people accountable just shows how weak he is."

Hillary and Donnie

Donald Trump and the Clintons were also friends at one point, often seen together at social events in New York City.

The Clintons were also guests at Donald and Melania Trump’s wedding at Mar-a-Lago in 2005.

There is an infamous picture of the two couples together at the wedding reception, with Trump telling a story, having all eyes and smiles on him at the time.

I have always questioned Trump’s animosity toward the Clintons, a stance that was proven true on Trump’s first day in office during his first term, when Trump called for applause for Hillary at his inauguration lunch, more or less confirming my belief that it was all for show (you can see that moment on video, click here).

Oprah and Donnie

Oprah Winfrey used to gush over Trump when he was in the private sector, with Trump often returning the sentiment.

Trump appeared on Oprah’s TV show several times, with Oprah even saying that Trump should run for office.

Clearly, this is all political theater. Donald Trump had the same positions in that video that he has today, yet now Democrats say they are against everything he espouses.

They clearly supported him before he decided to run on a GOP ticket. We are being gaslighted, my friends, every day.
