A beauty influencer with more than 263,000 Instagram followers is fighting for her life in a London hospital after a rival influencer allegedly struck her with a black Mercedes outside a Soho nightclub early Sunday morning, according to Metropolitan Police and multiple British media reports.

Klaudia Zakrzewska, known online as Klaudiaglam, was reportedly knocked down, driven over, and pinned to the ground by the vehicle outside the Inca nightclub. Met Police said officers arrived at the scene around 4:30 a.m. Sunday following reports of a car collision involving pedestrians. A woman in her 30s, identified by outlets as Zakrzewska, was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

The alleged driver, former "X-Factor" contestant Gabrielle Carrington, 29, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, grievous bodily harm, dangerous driving, and drink driving, the New York Post reported. The Daily Caller reported that police charged Carrington with attempted murder, though the Met Police's own language also described her arrest as being "on suspicion" of those offenses, a distinction that may reflect the difference between an arrest and a formal court charge under British law.

Video captures the moment of impact

Footage circulating on social media appeared to show the black Mercedes knocking Zakrzewska over, driving over her, and pinning her beneath the vehicle. In one clip, a bystander can be heard screaming.

An onlooker in the video yelled, "She's running her over!" as the scene unfolded.

Zakrzewska was not the only person hurt. Met Police said a man in his 50s suffered life-altering wounds and was also taken to the hospital. A third woman reportedly received care for minor injuries at the scene. Neither has been publicly identified.

The Daily Mail reported that Carrington and Zakrzewska allegedly had a heated argument outside the nightclub before the collision. What sparked the dispute has not been disclosed. No motive has been publicly stated by police.

Who are the women involved?

Zakrzewska built a large following on Instagram, where she shared beauty and lifestyle content. The Daily Caller noted that she had posted videos of herself dressed up that same night, hours before the incident. Her account lists more than 263,000 followers.

Carrington reached the live finals of "The X Factor" in 2013 as part of the group Miss Dynamix. She later moved into social media and influencer work. Deadline identified her as the 29-year-old woman taken into custody.

Both women operated in overlapping corners of the British influencer scene, though the nature of their rivalry, and whether it extended beyond a single argument that night, remains unclear from available police statements.

Police appeal for witnesses

Detective Chief Inspector Alison Foxwell of Specialist Crime South issued a public appeal for anyone with information to come forward. Her statement acknowledged the early-morning timing but pointed out that nearby venues were still open when the collision occurred.

"While this incident took place in the early hours of the morning, venues in the area were still open, and we believe a number of people will have seen what happened."

Foxwell added that the investigation's focus remains on the injured and their families.

"As our enquiries continue, our thoughts are with those injured and their loved ones."

The appeal suggests police are still building their case. No court date has been publicly announced. Whether Carrington has retained legal counsel or made any statement through a representative is not reflected in current reporting.

Social media complicates the picture

Within hours, the incident had gone viral. Social media figure Mario Nawfal posted on X that Zakrzewska had "reportedly died", a claim not supported by police statements, which described her condition as critical but did not confirm a death. The post also described the suspect as "a 29-year-old woman and alleged rival influencer."

French outlet BFMTV also posted about the incident, describing it as an influencer running over multiple people outside a nightclub. The international attention underscored how quickly an alleged crime between two online personalities can saturate platforms worldwide, and how quickly unverified claims can outrun the facts.

That gap between what police have confirmed and what social media has broadcast matters. Zakrzewska's condition was listed as critical. Whether she survived the night, whether additional charges will follow, and what evidence police have to support the allegation that the collision was deliberate, none of that has been publicly addressed.

Open questions remain

Several significant details are still missing. Police have not disclosed what evidence, if any, supports the claim that the car strike was intentional rather than reckless. The identities of the man in his 50s and the third woman injured in the incident have not been released. The hospital treating Zakrzewska has not been named. And the precise sequence of events between the alleged argument and the collision has not been laid out in any official account.

The distinction between Carrington being arrested "on suspicion" and being formally charged also remains unresolved. British law permits extended detention and investigation before charges are formally filed in court. Whether prosecutors have taken the case forward is not yet public.

What is clear is that a woman is clinging to life in a hospital bed, a man suffered wounds described as life-altering, and a third bystander was hurt, all outside a nightclub in one of London's busiest entertainment districts.

The influencer economy runs on attention. What happened outside the Inca nightclub is a reminder that the feuds cultivated for clicks can have consequences no algorithm can undo.
